I just looked at the
onyx download page and indeed the newer models are updated to 3.1, while the older are still at 3.0. E.g. Note 3 and Note Air are updated to 3.1, while Note 2 and the Note's are still at 3.0.
Does anyone know whether the older models will be updated, too? Does anyone remember what the lag was for the release of the firmware for the older models when the firmware went to 3.0?
Afaik it was supposed to be released by the end of March (for older devices), but given there were a lot of bugs in 3.1 for newer devices it's delayed. It should be pretty soon

Newer devices have v3.1 "repair fixes" (Onyx' words) which are only available at the Chinese update servers (not the US ones) right now. They should be right busy.
It's available now for my Nova 2 but the download speed is quite terrible.

Well, that means it's going to be out soon, they release it in batches
@Markismus That PoC is temporarily on hold, but I'm going back to try some things soon. Docker broke for me 2 months ago and I didn't have time to fix it

Yesterday I got my Note3, and had two of those "repair fixes". Switched on, configured wifi and voila, dot in settings icon. I'm living in The Netherlands (Europe).
BTW, my Nova 2 didn't had the 3.1 yet, and I like 3.1 a lot having the possibility of side scroll for light adjustment.
I extracted Onyx App from Leaf2 firmware v3.3.2 (20230410) and placed the file in
MEGA, it includes
- NeoReader (Version: 35368)
- Dictionary (Version: 31356)
- Floating button (Version: 31353)
- App Market (Version: 30444)
I also extracted Note from MaxLumi2 firmware v3.3.2 (20230329)

Please try my
script to download the Boox image, and mount on your debian-based device (without the actual device). After the image is mounted, you can grab the application.
That's how I get grab the latest Neoreader application and put it onto my old Nova.
It looks like v3.1 is available through chinese servers.
