Sinclair’s first collection of supernatural fiction, set in the second decade of the twentieth century. Sinclair combines the traditional ghost story with the discoveries of Freud and Einstein, and the results will enthrall and unnerve the reader.

May Sinclair was the pseudonym of Mary Amelia St. Clair (24 August 1863 – 14 November 1946), a popular British writer who wrote about two dozen novels, short stories and poetry. An innovator of modern fiction, she was also a significant critic in the area of modernist poetry and prose. Many critics have proclaimed her supernatural fiction to be a notable contribution to the genre.
