A real dictionary! Not a translation dictionary, but one to look up words in that is more current than 1913. I'd pay for this.

I am trying to get this one converted by the gentleman that created the epub. Its based off the 1913 dictionary but with over 100,000+ words added.
http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80267I vote for lit support *** one to go!

In trolling for themes I ran into this:
http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fbookfast.org%2Fpo cketbook%2Fdictionaries%2Foxford-advanced-learners-dictionary&sl=ru&tl=enIt knows HDTV, computers, LASERs and it knows internet.
Unless somebody squawks about copyright I figure that between this and the (updated) Webster's I'll be set.
At least until somebody brings the OED over.
(Which exists in LIT format, btw.)
(HINT!)
I vote for LIT support too! Is that five votes?
I'd love a new dictionary, too. I'd really like to never see the word "twixt" in a dictionary search again
I'm guessing with metadata support we'd be able to use tags. I think that would be fantastic. I LOVE the organisation of the PB360, I'm a file organising junkie, but I'd love to be able to use tags with my books as well.

Almost done. It will be in one of the next firmware updates (soon).
As a soon to be PB360 owner I'd love metatag support. LIT support would be nice to as I have a number of files I wasn't looking forward to having to convert.
I apply for the dictionarie too, improved, and of course, a language dictionary (I'm Spanish, and although I'm doing my best, help is always welcome).
Thank you for this thread.

I wasn't looking forward to converting files either, but I've found that using Calibre to convert LIT files to FB2 is quick and easy, not anything to worry about at all
But yes, LIT support would be lovely so we can avoid the conversions.
I adhere to the LIT support, the Theme making wizard, and the dictionary. I rest assured that there is one in the making. However, I wonder if it will support less common combinations like German-Spanish, or if we'll have to build 'em ourselves. In such case, some more documentation on dictionaries (knowing that Stardict is open-source ) won't harm.
