I meant why buy a Kindle if you are struggling without KOReader ?
Yes yes. The point is both my children use Kindle, 2014 and 2019 models. I just got it to give it a try and I will pass it to them keeping one of the others as a backup.

I just found imposible to tweak styles in some books. I can use Calibre but KOReader allows me to tweak them on the fly and have consistent configuration. It is a pity Kindle does not allow to load KOReader easily like Kobo.

I'm curious, what styles are you trying to tweak? I have found that when converting from epub to azw3, the style of book is consistent from book to book. Perhaps the style of the books is suitable for my eyes but not for you

So basically, text align is greyed for all the converted books but I want to tweak also margins and some other stuff like font weight or line space for instance.

With KOReader you can tweak nearly everything with some default tweaks and if you need it you make your CSS tweaks as well easily. And you can set the styles you want as default for all the books.

In any case, I am not rambling on the Kindle. I just said the software is simple and functional and a pity you can't install KOReader easily which is by far the best existing software to read ebooks.
