I wonder if the price offer on the reMarkable site means they are preparing a new model, better equipped hardware or will they just continue with software upgrades? Any news from somewhere?

The Remarkable 2 has been delayed (COVID) until late August for the earliest batch, November for new orders. I like my Remarkable for note taking but find it a bit unwieldy for e-reading. The early e-book software was crap but later updates made it usable.
In case anybody is interested, they've moved things back another month. Getting a little worrisome but they have sent models out for review so I guess it is not vaporware

Not really worried but Kickstarter/Indiegogo have made a cynic out of me
