My son's Kindle won't connect to Calibre anymore. It never had this problem before. Just started. I reset the kindle and tried a different cable. I don't know what else to do. Suggestions? Below is the info from the clipboard.

The errors suggests the device has been mounted read-only or some other permissions have changed to prevent calibre from creating a new directory. There have been plenty of reports of MACs mounting ereaders read-only, so that is probably it.

Sorry, not a Mac user at all. I know it has been discussed here and links to the solution have been posted, but, that's about all I can say.
