Hello,
I recently had my Kobo Aura One stolen from my bag and since that's no longer in production and the 7,8" alternative costs 270 euro I decided on the android e-ink device Likebook Mars.
What I always missed in the Kobo is the folder structure like windows uses. Since I have a lot of short story books (usually just 10-20 pages long) and they're not really a series I would like to use this same structure on the Mars.
Does anyone know of a software that allows this, instead of the annoying and bothersome "shelves" the big brands seem so fond of for thatever weird reason?
As a side note, how are things on the "upgrade to 8.1" front? Is it still a gamble, so should I leave that alone for now? And what's the plus side of rooting the device, can I get rid of the useless Google stuff that most likely slows the device down and sends them what I do on it, that way?
It's coming tonight between 6 and 10 so I'm pretty excited!
Well it's less likely that anyone will want to steal it.
edit: best ask in new topic..
