Perhaps all ereaders should require the user to "register" their ereader while connected to a computer so it could:Doing this would avoid this type of recall, reduce support calls and reduce the number of unreadable books held on an ereader. My 2c.

EDIT: are you saying a Mac won't allow you to copy any file, with any extension, onto a USB memory stick/ereader? really?

As the OP, the Title of the thread matched with the link gave both. I am reluctant to copy/paste from blogs sites due to past copyright issues.
