#1  pdurrant 12-19-2014, 05:40 AM
As of 25th February, 2020, the latest version of the tools is 6.7.0

Details are at Apprentice Alf's blog and Apprentice Harper's github repository.

If you have any problems with DRM removal, ask at Alf's blog, or Harper's github repository, NOT here at MobileRead.

I never saw the problem on my Mac. It would be interesting to hear whether Alf's new version has fixed the problem for Windows users.

It seems to be fixed. I'm on Windows and just imported 13 books without any problem.

Thank you.

Alf seems to have posted a new version of the tools, 6.1.0.

It is supposed to fix the multiple-import problem that some have experienced with recent calibre releases.

Downloadable from Apprentice Alf's blog as usual.
And it fixes that long standing typo in the OS X standalone tools.

Does it remember old settings from an older version? (E.g. serial number of eink kindle)

I don't think the tools being upgraded changes personal settings. At least I've never noticed any plugin upgrade changing settings that I've made on my copy of Calibre.
