The larger screen interests me. BUT, look for close out prices on previous versions! That would be a tough call if the price were right and if the closeouts weren't so old that the batteries are suspect.

With a wireless charger, Amazon could dump the USB socket altogether. This would make a water proof device possible.

I doubt you'll notice any difference in sustained transfer speeds, although it might be nice not to have to worry about someone using a nearby microwave during a transfer. Flash storage can't keep up with even 2.5 GHz speeds.
