When choosing to embed metadata in book files (PDF), some comments appear as description/subject metadata in the Mac OS Finder. I really like that and think it's neat to have a short summary of the book's content.

Far from all comments make it there however, usually there's only 'author' and 'title', and I wonder what I'm missing. Is this something to be programmed with plugboards for example?

It's worth noting that I view my books, all of them PDF files, on a Mac desktop (Mojave).
