In the demo app, night view works perfectly.

In the paid app, just the words get a black box around them in the grouping drawer leaving the rest of the grouping drawer bright white.

This happens on both my tablet and my phone.

Is there any way to fix this?
Doesn't this happen to anyone else? or is it just me?

I'm using the paid android app on a Pixel 3XL and Pixel Slate.
It doesn't happen on the last version I released way back when, 5.4.4.1, on a OnePlus 5 running Android 10. I don't know whether or not the new dev(s) changed/broke it.
They did break it. I have a the latest version for Android 5.4.4.19. My grouping drawer looks just like yours Cyndi7 with all the white. They do know about the problem but have not done anything about it.
Thank you. It's good to know it's not just me. Hopefully, they will fix it at some point.
Unfortunately the devs have disappeared,...
So, back to same ol' CC: use till it becomes incompatible with Android devices...

...or cloud services...

...or Calibre itself!


What can I do to have CC removed from the Google Play Store?
That I am not bothered by information about worse updates!
