Thanks!

Picked up the ebook format of the last Constellation collection book, which I somehow didn't have already.

My pleasure. And it really is, because I quite enjoyed both stories. The Galaxy Ballroom story had already appeared on Baen.com, but the Ambient Conditions was new. And I found the author's note on it interesting. And fairly scary.

Just a heads up that a new chapbook, Change State, was published on Amazon today. $4.29 Canadian; 98 pages. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XP2768X/

Description from Amazon:

“ Includes two stories set in far corners of the Liaden Universe┬«. Short story "Command Decision," which first appeared in the anthology Release the Virgins, features Bjarni, a man with a nose for 'shroom, improbably standing at the intersection of change and tradition.

Novella "Dead Men Dream," is original to this chapbook, and harks back to the time of Lee and Miller's novel Trade Secret. What is life after death, after all, if not an adventure?”

Jon: Korval.com

@Victoria: Yes, I'm just reading the first story now. The other was part of a Kickstarter project I helped fund, so I've already read it. But a re-read won't hurt!

Thanks and kudos Charlie! They can certainly use the support, and we have the pleasure of another book.

Jon, I also find the table at the end of this wiki page helpful when trying to sort out the order of the short stories - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liaden_universe

But where do the shorts fall in order?I can see a reading order and a published order but the shorts are not included.

So do we have a reading order list and a date published list including the shorts?
