The FAQ said I could send info to you so that I could use Calibre with my new Droid Phone. Here is the info. I hope you can help with this. If I can't read books on my phone I'm taking it back!
Thanks!

You need to put the phone in disk mode so that it is mounted as a disk in windows.

What is this?
Drives detected: {} Looking for ESLICK.

Does that mean that people are developing Android software for eSlick?

No it means Calibre supports that full list of devices.

I hope someone can help, I'm so frustrated with this! I received my 7" android tablet/reader this morning and I'm ready to tear my hair out. I can't get on the internet - I keep getting a "network time out error" -and I can't for the life of me find where I can download Aldiko. I can find all kinds of glowing references to Aldiko, but find a download button? Not on my life! Not even if I'm willing to pay for the premium version just to GET the darn thing!

Not to mention that the tablet arrived with almost no charge AND a non-working AC charger; but that's okay, we were able to work around that. But yikes! I know so little about this, just enough to be dangerous! And I DON'T want to hurt this device.

I went to the other Droid forum but I haven't seen any answers to these two problems. Can anyone

(Okay, /vent)

You can get Aldiko through the Android Marketplace (once you get your device online) or you can download it here...

THANK YOU!

I had been to that site earlier but nary a download button could I find. Now maybe I can at least load some of my books and check out Aldiko.

Does anyone have any suggestions about why it keeps saying google/yahoo/anything internet at all can't be found? It said it found my home wireless network.

Anyway,

So I downloaded Aldiko and now - it's totally dead. No lights, no response to the power button, no response to reset.
