Our own cool-er forum - how cool is that! Thanks to the forum moderators and everyone else who helped make this happen.

I'll look forward to hearing everyone else's experiences and tips about their cool-er ereaders.

FInally! I've asked for this Section since i knew the forums.

i wonder when there will be community to customise the Cool-er classic's software.

Look forward to be able to milk the protential of the device.

Just purchased the Cool-ER. It appears to have been updated and seems to work OK. Uploaded a couple of books in Mobi format and they seem fine. As this device is no longer manufactured, this forum is a welcome lifeline - very little info came with the reader. Is there any contrast adjustment - can't find any? Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is one.

It is a rather simple hardware, and there aren't that many shades of black/gray it can display.

Bit of trivia: (cold) temperature can affect the display, it "fades out" while cold. (So far, I didn't notice any permanent effect, so it doesn't seem to harm the display.)
