Anybody knows when it becomes available for orders? And is there a rep in the US?

Yar they are not making it available in the US any time soon. Their main focus is providing them for schools in Russia at the moment. The whole production run will go to teachers and students. They are stocking them with all the books necessary to I think 7th grade.

They gave out the first 50 or 100 to teachers at the event where they "launched" it last week. So if you happen to know a teacher over there that might want to "lose" theirs.... see if they have a friend for me It comes with Russian and English interface

sure, but it's a 10,7", no glass screen, lighter than a Kindle DXG, and quite cheap (approx 300 euros)

sure there are some turn downs, the first being the non Pearl screen
