0116GCARDS Great find. Amounts to a 20% discount. I haven't done it before, so I guess that I qualify. And there certainly won't be any trouble with me using all $50 at Amazon, in rather short order I might add.
Thanks. I would send you some karma, but I've sent you karma too much lately and they won't let me send you anymore right now. But it's the thought that counts, right? At least that's what I said to myself when I got that ugly tie for Christmas. ha

0116GCARDS Thanks, Monkey!
FYI - at least for me - the offer applies only to gift cards sent by snail mail, not to e-gift cards.
Poor Amazon!
I think that we shouldn't take them up on this gift card deal. They only set records for holiday shipping, Christmas Eve deliveries, vacation deliveries, and new Prime members (only 3 million during this past Christmas rush) this holiday season. That's all!
I think that we need to take up a collection for them, instead. Is anyone with me?
For people who recently got the newest Chromecast, what device works best for you as a remote? Works fine with my Nexus 7, but I wasn't able to find the casting for a Nook HD, and the 2012 Fire HD which runs Android (not Fire) will also not cast to the TV.

I have two little LG Fuel phones, one in each room that work well as remotes/casting devices. Also have an Acer tablet, and a Moto E (first edition) that work well. Nook HD works only with some apps, its an old version of Android at this point. Amazon is lousy as a remote because they have changed Android so much. Pretty much any phone or tablet with Kit Kat Android and up should work well.
Also Chrome Browser will work, just add the Chromecast extension.

0116GCARDS This may be a targeted promotion. They tell me that I don't qualify, but I'm almost certain that I have never taken advantage of such a deal before.
