How many different shops have you bought ebooks from?

I just looked at my calibre database, and saw that under my custom 'shops' column, I have 56 different shops listed!

The vast majority of my books have come from just three - Fictionwise, Amazon and Baen. But I was surprised as the number of different places I've bought from over the years. Most are now defunct. (e.g. Books on Board, CyberRead)

54. Most of those are one-time purchases from a small publisher. A bit more are from Angry Robot, Baen, a couple of Estonian shops and the defunct shops (AllRomance, BooksOnBoard, Diesel, EbookMall). Some are from Gutenberg. The majority of my purchases are from Amazon, Google, Kobo and Smashwords.

Three that I can be recall the identity of - Amazon, Kobo and Smashwords. I have a recollection of buying one as a one-off from some site I can no longer recall, that still leaves me in the 3-5 range.

Probably 20 or so counting sales from publisher webstores.

I just voted 3-5 immediately (BooksOnBoard, Fictionwise, Nook, Amazon, Kobo).

Looking at the posts though, that reminded me that I've bought the odd book or two from a couple different places:
I also found a PDB ebook that I didn't purchase from Fictionwise (my Fictionwise ebooks seemed to have all migrated to B&N). Not sure where I got that from. I think it was from eReader but not really sure.

I chose 3-5. I might've forgot some one-off purchases at some smaller or publisher sites, but I think I've only ever bought ebooks from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo and Google Play. Did Sony have its own ebook store? If so then that makes six at least for me.
