United States: Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and JFK's Inaugural Address
I was searching PG and, out of curiosity, looked to see what was the first text uploaded. It was the U.S. Declaration of Independence. The second was the Bill of Rights. The third was JFKs Inaugural Address.
So here they are.
The prose is wonderful and makes one long to live in a republic with such high ideals.
(I dont live in a republic and dont care to enter into a discussion of whether the ideals have ever been realized.)
